We are excited to announce that Santaquin City has entered into an agreement to repair and replace the stone on the planter boxes on Main Street. In the days ahead, the boxes will be stripped of their faux stone and replaced with a natural stone with metal backing raised inches off the ground to ensure that they adhere properly. We believe this will rectify the problems that we have experienced the past couple of years with the planter boxes. We would like to thank Condie Construction and JUB Engineering for working with Santaquin City by financially supporting a permanent resolution to this longstanding problem. We look forward to our new and improved planter boxes that will aid in beautifying our main street and community as a whole.
The irrigation system is scheduled for shut-off in October. The exact date is unknown at this point, but it is expected to occur during the week of October 15th.
