The Intense Country Band is a Classic Country/ Rock band that was formed in 1994. They have played at clubs, dance halls, rodeos, weddings and other social events in Utah and parts of Nevada. The band members consist of Keith Broadhead from Santaquin, Utah (Lead Guitar/ Vocals), Mike Olsen from Spanish Fork, and Utah (Base Guitar / Vocals) Bob Shepherd from Nephi, Utah (Drums / Vocals) , Kevin Ford from Eagle Mountain, Utah (Keyboard / Vocals) and Kristy Wilkey from Round Mountain, Nevada (Vocals) when she is town. 4-H Fundraiser Petting Zoo/Horse Rides

This is a fundraiser for the local 4-H groups. Please be generous and plan on supporting this great event.


Event Held: Monday, August 1st

Time: 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Place: Behind the Recreation Office, 45 West 100 South

Cost: $1 per person for the petting zoo and $3 per person for a horse ride


Horse Shoe Tournament

This is a round robin tournament with that classic country game of horse shoes. Any age can participate. Teams of 2 will compete for fabulous prizes and awards (along with Santaquin fame).

Rodeo Tickets are on Sale NOW at the Main City Office and the Recreation Office during office hours. Adults tickets are $7.00 Children s tickets are $5.00 IF PURCHASED FROM THE TWO LOCATIONS LISTED ABOVE PRIOR TO THE DATES OF RODEO. Regular priced tickets are $8 and $6 at the door the night of the events


Children's Parade

It is tradition to have the children of Santaquin parade through the streets every year on their decorated bikes, wagons, scooters, etc. to kick off Family Night. Kids ages 0 to 12 are welcome!

No gas powered vehicles are permitted. 

There will be awards for "Mayor's Choice", "Most Unique", "Most Createive", etc. 

A drawing for a NEW BIKE will be held before the parade starts, so do not be late! 

Date: Monday, August 1st

Time: 6:00 pm (participants should arrive 15 minutes early to participate in the drawing)

Place: Line up starts at Centennial Park ( 300 West 100 South)

Admission: Free
