With spring just around the corner, put a spring in your step and come visit on Thursday's at our Senior Center. There is entertainment starting at 12:00 noon, and a homemade cooked meal at 12:30 p.m.  Doors are open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Activities available include pool, jig-saw puzzles, cards, and friends. We are excited to get a new elliptical machine to add to our other equipment. And, don't forget the 3 new computers which are available to use. Instruction is available upon request.  We encourage all seniors in the surrounding area to come join us. Annual dues are $3.00 per person and there is a $3.00 meal donation each Thrusday.  

Home Health Care workers from Absolute Compassion are in-house on the first Thursday of the month to check blood pressure, blood sugar, etc.

Senior Care for Care Givers

Stepping On Workshop 

"Stepping On" is a seven (7) week workshop that builds strength, balance and confidence in an effort to reduce the number of falls for a person 60 and older. Classes are free, but reservations are required (space and materials are limited). Classes are held Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., beginning September 27, in the Utah County Health Department, room 2601 (151 S University Ave, Provo). Caregiver Support Group
Mountainland Association of Governments holds a caregiver support group at the Payson Senior Center, 439 West Utah Avenue, on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. A light supper is provided, RSVP’s are appreciated. By providing a break to caregivers, the well-being and quality of life for both the caregiver and the individual they are caring for can be preserved. For more information call 801-229-3818.
