Volunteer Amateur Radio Emergency Operations
A weekly volunteer Amateur Radio Emergency Preparedness "net" takes place every Tuesday evening at 8:30 pm, with operations starting on a frequency of 446.5MHz (FM Simplex). The net will be conducted by a net control operator station and any further instructions will be given during the net. In the event of a real emergency amateur radio volunteer operations can be expected to be started on the same frequency.
