Treasurer & Administration Service Director

The City Treasurer is appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council.

The City Treasurer is acts as the custodian of all city funds and collector and distributor of all revenues. As revenues come into the treasurer's office from many different sources, the treasurer disburses those dollars in a timely fashion to ensure the efficient administration of city government and its financial resources.

Under state law, the City Treasurer is authorized to invest excess revenues on a short-term basis. Santaquin City employs a conservative investment strategy focusing first on safety and capital preservation, then liquidity considerations and, finally, yield. 

Administrative Services also includes Utilities, Human Resources and the Santaquin City Justice Court.
