Chieftain Museum
The Santaquin Chieftain Museum will be CLOSED TO TOURS for the next several weeks due to safety precautions during the demolition of the old Jr. High building and due to decorating being done for the Spooky Night at the Museum event. Regular tours will resume after Spooky Night at the Museum.

Our amazing Chieftain Museum welcomes all groups, families, and individuals to enjoy the many displays that are housed in the former elementary school. This historic structure was built in 1903 and served as a school for the community until the early 1980’s. The museum’s founders Donna Bott and Florence Lamb, with the support of the community, accomplished their goal to turn the building into a museum, which was dedicated in 1990. Tours are FREE and great for all ages.
Stop by the museum to pick up a FREE Historical Sites booklet. Take a historical walking tour around Santaquin and learn more about the cities history.
Attention Elementary Schools:
School groups can make their appointments on Monday and Wednesday from 9 AM- 12 PM.
