PUBLIC NOTICE
Annexation Policy Plan Amendment
Notice is hereby given that the Santaquin City Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Santaquin City Council Chambers located at 275 W. Main Street, Santaquin, to discuss the amendment of the Santaquin City Annexation Policy Plan. The Annexation Policy Plan is intended to provide guidance to the city for decisions related to future annexations and development. It is proposed that the plan be updated for compliance with Utah Code and to reflect the current annexation and development priorities of the city, including changes to future expansion areas.
The request will be processed in accordance with § 10-2-401.5 et al of Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended. The process will proceed as follows:
- Public Meeting with the Planning Commission and comment period to allow affected entities to examine the proposed amendments and provide input; and
- Public Hearing and recommendation by the Planning Commission (additional notice will be sent to affected entities); and
- Public Hearing and decision by the City Council (additional notice will be sent to affected entities).
You may comment on this matter in person during the public meeting on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 and/or provide written comments by November 18, 2022. Written comments may be sent to Santaquin City, Attn: Amalie Ottley, 275 W. Main St, Santaquin, UT 84655.

The undersigned duly appointed City Recorder for the municipality of Santaquin City hereby certifies that a copy of the foregoing Public Notice was posted on www.santaquin.org, Santaquin City social media sites, posted in three physical locations within the city, and posted on the State of Utah’s Public Notice website. This notice was also mailed to all affected entities per UCA 10-2-401.5 subsection (iii).
