Public Notice - Tanner Annexation

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Santaquin City Council will be conducting a public hearing on March 15, 2022 at 7:15 PM in the City Council Chambers located at 275 West Main Street. the meeting will be held in person and online. YouTube Live-Public meetings will be shown live on the Santaquin City YouTube Channel, which can be found at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTzZT_yW2H2Hd-58M2_ddSw

The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments on a proposed annexation of 43.93+/- acres referred to as the Tanner Annexation (See attached map). This annexation is being considered under Utah State Code, §10-2-418 Annexation of an island or peninsula without a petition. In accordance with the same regulations, the City Council adopted Resolution 02-01-2022 on February 1, 2022, which indicates an intent to annex the area. A copy of Resolution 02-01-2022 can be obtained from the City Recorder’s office at 275 West Main Street or by emailing dmarker@santaquin.org.
