Parks, Trails & Open Space

CITY PARKS

Santaquin City is pleased to provide park, trails and open spaces for all the community to enjoy.

We ask the public to help us keep an eye on the parks to assure there isn’t suspicious activities, graffiti, or vandalism that affects our nice restrooms and playgrounds. Learn more about each park by visiting the menu on the left.

If you see park amenities that need attention, please call our Parks Department during office hours at 801-754-1970.

After Hours Public Works Non-Emergency contact is 801-754-1883.

PARK RESERVATIONS

Reservations are available at select parks for pavilion and restroom facilities only. The adjacent amenities such as playgrounds, ball fields, etc., are public areas; therefore, the public can and might be using those areas during your event.

Reservations can be made at the start of the calendar year in January, however they are available for use as water is turned on approximately April 1 to October 15 each year.

Reservations can be made online at santaquin.activityreg.com or by calling 801-754-5805.

COMMUNITY GARDEN

Santaquin created its first Community Garden in 2023 utilizing Recreation Arts Parks (RAP) Tax funds. The garden has 16 plots available for public use. The plots are prioritized through a lottery system in February of each year.  The garden plots are then available for public use April -October consistent with Santaquin Irrigation water availability.  Those selected pay a $30 annual deposit and $25 annual fee. To be added to the lottery list please email jbradley@santaquin.org

PARK MASTER PLAN

The Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Space Master Plan was adopted in 2023. It is a planning tool to help guide the development of recreation amenities in Santaquin.
