Employee of the Month 2021

Every other month a worthy employee of our city is recognized as an outstanding employee. It is an honor to work for the city and there are many employees who go above and beyond their duties to make our city great. To learn more about our recipients of this award, see below:

December 2021 Employees of the Month - Mindi Tyler and Lori Silva

Mindi Tyler and Lori Silva are our December Employees of the Month. They are court clerks for Santaquin City and both have worked for Santaquin City for five and one-half years and work part-time.

October 2021 Employee of the Month - Summer Parks Crew

Our 2021 October Employees of the Month is our Summer Parks Crew! This group of hardworking employees really stepped up and worked hard to make the parks look fantastic this summer, especially for our Orchard Days celebration. Some of them even turned down other job opportunities, which would have paid more, to continue working through the summer for the city so our parks would be the best they could be.

August 2021 Employee of the Month - Ryan Harris

Ryan Harris has been an invaluable addition to the Santaquin Community Development Department as the Staff Planner. Hired two years ago, Ryan has helped review subdivision applications and site plans, answered zoning questions, and helped projects through the process of application, during a time of unprecedented growth in Santaquin City.

April 2021 Employee of the Month - Judy Robbins

Judy and Val Robbins are our 2021 April Employee of the Month and May Volunteer of the Month.

Judy is from Farmington, Utah and worked at Lagoon for seven years. She attended Davis High School and graduated from BYU with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She owned and operated her own preschool for twenty plus years. She enjoys teaching, family history, cooking, and spending time with grandchildren and family. She is currently serving as Santaquin’s Senior Center Director and has been volunteering and working with the seniors for the past seven years.

February 2021 Employee of the Month - Randy Spadafora

Randy Spadafora has been a staple employee in the Santaquin Community Development Department as a Building Inspector for nearly 23 years. As the current Building Official, he helped lead the efforts to manage the incredible growth that happened this past year. Despite the various challenges that came during the year 2020, 675 permits were issued of which 430 were new multifamily and single residential permits.
